Lisa Swanson has been working in the field of natural medicine for over 8 years. She has a broad range of experience and has treated diverse communities.
- CA State Board Licensed Acupuncurist (L.Ac), Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College
- Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) in Tui Na, American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- BA, Mills College, pre-med/anthopolology
Before going into private practice, Lisa treated women with cancer at Charlottle Maxwell Clinic and specialized in Hepatitis C at Kuan Yin Healing Arts Center. She held internships at the California Pacific Medical Center stroke rehabilitation clinic, the Lifelong West Berkeley Family Practice Clinic, the Women’s Cancer Resource Center, and the HAART Methdone Clinic treating patients with addiction. Lisa has also taught yoga, enjoys dancing, and is an American Conservatory Theatre trained actor.
